Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts inquiries, ensuring they receive the correct components for their trucks. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of truck parts and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their trucks.
• Interpret parts catalogs and schematics to determine the appropriate parts required.
• Provide exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone.
• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and manage stock levels.
• Process orders, invoices, and returns efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
• Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the parts storage area.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter or similar role in the automotive or trucking industry.
• Strong knowledge of truck parts and systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in using computer applications.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
