About the Role:

H People is currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at in Richlands. This position plays a crucial role in our day-to-day operations by safely and efficiently handling materials and products within our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas, and production lines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse and production areas.
• Assist with inventory management by accurately recording incoming and outgoing materials.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Handle oversized loads with precision and care, ensuring they are securely positioned and transported.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift certification/license - LF
• Familiarity with operating forklifts in confined spaces and around obstacles.
• Experience with oversized loads
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with oversized loads is preferred.
