Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of building products across Australia. They pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality products to their valued customers across Brisbane and beyond. As they continue to expand, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver with a C Class Licence to join the team on a full time bases.

Position Overview:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of our products to our customers throughout Brisbane. Operating a small flatbed truck that is suitable for a C Class Licence, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach their destinations efficiently and in pristine condition. This is a Monday to Friday role with consistent hours + overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a small flatbed truck in accordance with all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
• Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
• Load and unload products onto the truck, ensuring proper handling and securement.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections, reporting any issues to management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding delivery operations and safety protocols.
• Assist the stores team when deliveries are completed

Qualifications:

• Valid C Class Driver's Licence.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial setting. (Desired not essential)
• Familiarity with Brisbane and surrounding areas.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 20kg as needed.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
